MRVC JOB NOTIFICATION 

Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. (MRVC), a Public Sector Undertaking of Govt. of India under Ministry of Railways (MOR), incorporated on 12th July 1999 under Companies Act, 1956, executes the projects under Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP).

The Corporation already executed number of suburban rail improvement projects in Mumbai and extended suburbs for enhancing suburban rail transportation capacity. The corporation is also involved in the planning and development of Mumbai Suburban Rail system.

SELECTION PROCESS

1) Eligible candidates will proceed to document verification and interviews after a preliminary application screening.

2) If there are more eligible applications, candidates up to five times the MRVC’s requirements may be engaged, with a one-month notice for contract termination. Selected candidates for notified vacancies will be interviewed based on engineering qualifications and experience.

3) A nominated committee will conduct interviews, and selection will be based on merit, including performance, qualifications, and post-qualification experience. The decision of the Nominated Committee is final. The contract terms provided may change upon entering into the contract at MRVC’s discretion. Initially, the contract will be for three years, extendable annually based on performance and mutual consent.

4) A standby panel of candidates may be maintained based on merit for additional requirements. Notified posts are not regular positions.

5) Contracted candidates won’t be absorbed into MRVC’s regular service and must provide a written undertaking to that effect. MRVC reserves the right to terminate the contract with one month’s notice or payment in lieu thereof. Contract appointees may be required to attend to emergencies and other duties. In case of undesirable activities or breaches, MRVC can initiate civil/criminal proceedings.

MRVC APPLICATION PROCESS

(a) Duly filled in application should be sent to Manager (HR), Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation       Ltd. by email on career@mrvc.gov.in.

(b) Last date for submission of application by mail is 10.11.2023

(c) Applications should be complete in all respects and strictly as per the prescribed format  .               Applications not conforming to the prescribed format or having illegible/ambiguous certificates or     without certificates or incomplete will be summarily rejected.

(d) The cut-off date for eligibility is 10.10.2023.
