Civilianz Maze 3.0 as a part of Engineers Day Celebration,2021

ABOUT CIVILIANZ MAZE

Civilianz Maze is an All India Online Engineering quiz competition conducted by Swadeshi Science Movement in association with Civilianz (Centre for Civil Engineering Competitive exams), Indian Concrete Institute (Trivandrum Chapter) and Energy Conservation Society. 

The main aim of this quiz competition is to promote the academic interests and quizzing ability of Engineering students across the nation. 

ABOUT PREVIOUS EDITIONS:

Civilianz Maze 1.0 : First edition of Civilianz Maze (2019) was conducted in Offline Mode. Quiz was conducted at CETAA Hall of College of Engineering, Trivandrum with more than 200 participants from all over Kerala. Dr. S. Somanath, VSSC Director was the chief guest of the event. The event was a super success and received appreciation from many academic experts with acclamations.

Civilianz Maze 2.0 : Due to the pandemic hit all over the world, we were forced to switch the second edition of Civilianz Maze 2.0 in 2020 to online Mode. We set up the studio at Civilianz and the quizzing event was conducted online. A massive participation of 1000+ aspirants from all over India was witnessed.Sri V. Muralidharan, Hon. Union Minister of State for External Affairs & Parliamentary Affairs was the chief guest at the event proceedings. Dr. T. G. Sitharam, Director, IIT Guwahati, commenced the technical session with a keynote address.    

As a part of the curtain raiser of the event, we conducted three webinars from different topics including – Building Rules by Er. Safeer S., Cost Effective Construction by Padma Shri Ar. G. Shankar and Career Opportunities in Civil Engineering Sector by Civilianz Academic Team itself.

Civilianz Maze 3.0 is something bigger than its previous two editions. In previous editions, we were focussed on Civil Engineering Quizzing events only. This year, events are planned for the Electrical Engineering aspirants also. A series of curtain raiser events is also planned for the week.

On Day 5, a meeting on the spirit of Engineers Day will be followed by a Quizzing Event. Eminent engineers and academicians will be present for the virtual meeting.

ABOUT QUIZZING EVENT: 

• On 14th and 15th of September, Online quizzing events will be conducted for Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering Stream respectively.
• The participants are expected to be from all over India mainly – Engineering students and graduates from Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering Stream.
• Electrical Engineering quiz is scheduled on 14th of September from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Civil Engineering quiz will be conducted on 15th of September from 7.00 pm to 8.00pm.
• There will be NO Registration fee for the event and all registered participants will get a participation certificate.
• Attractive prize money is waiting for the Winners and Runner Ups for the event.

PRIZE MONEY:

Quizzing event grabs a total prize money of 50K!

• First Prize : 12K

• Second Prize : 8K

• Third Prize : 5K

The prizes will be separate for Civil & Electrical Engineering Events.Other exciting prizes are also awaiting winners.
