The Fertilisers And Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) was incorporated in the year 1943 as the first large-scale fertilizer plant in India at Udyogamandal, Kochi, Kerala. FACT started production in 1947. Initially in the Private Sector, promoted by M/s.Seshasayee Brothers, FACT became a Public Sector company in 1960 and the Government of India became the major shareholder in 1962. FACT is under the administrative control of the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India.

HOW TO APPLY

1. The candidates shall apply for apprenticeship through the online application link available in the website www.fact.co.in on or before 05.02.2026. Once the application is submitted online, it is necessary to take a printout of the application and send it, along with the attached format and scanned copies of the certificates uploaded on the website, to the Senior Manager (Training), FACT Training and Development Centre, Udyogamandal, PIN 683501. The documents should reach the undersigned on or before 5:00 PM, 10.02.2026.
2. The originals of the following certificates should be scanned and uploaded.
   a) 10th Pass Certificate & Mark list
   b) Diploma Certificate & Mark list
   c) Caste Certificate in the case of SC/ST, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in the case of OBC candidates, and EWS Certificate in the case of Economically Weaker Section candidates (which should be valid as per the date mentioned in the certificate and not issued earlier than 6 months from the date of application by an officer not lower than the rank of a Tahsildar). Disability Certificate (for PwBD candidates) from a competent Medical Board. (PwBD candidates will be considered for selection in Computer Discipline and Diploma in Commercial Practice (DCP) only).
   d) Aadhaar card.
   e) Dependency Certificate (Applicable for dependents of FACT Employees).
3. Incomplete application or application received after the due date or application without the above mentioned certificates will be liable for rejection without any intimation and will not be considered for selection. The certificates which are not original / legible will be liable for rejection without any intimation.
4. The Merit List of the eligible candidates will be published in our website www.fact.co.in and the candidates will be informed through their e-mail.
5. Diploma Candidates:
   Candidates must be registered in the online portal of the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) at https://nats.education.gov.in under the “Student” category. Only BOAT Southern Region–registered Kerala candidates are eligible to apply. The Registration ID and password should be available with the applicants.
6. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates is allowed as per rules (PwBD will
   only be considered for selection to COPA Apprenticeship only.)
7. Weightage: 50% marks in Diploma and 50% marks in 10th standard. In the event of a tie in marks, preference will be given to diploma marks. If there is still a tie, marks obtained in math and science in the 10th standard examination will be considered in order of priority.
8. The selected candidates should produce Aadhaar card as proof of residential address
   and the following at the time of joining:
   a. All original certificate mentioned in point 2.
   b. One set of attested copy of all documents.
   c. 6 nos. of passport size color photographs.
   d. SC / ST / OBC candidates should produce original certificate and an attested copy
   of caste / non-creamy layer certificates.
   e. NAPS/NATS Registration ID.
   f. Police Clearance Certificate.
   g. Dependency Certificate (for dependents of FACT Employees)
   h. Medical fitness certificate obtained in the prescribed format with valid lab reports.
