Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka, is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Metro Rail Project in the city of Bengaluru.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

1. Minimum overall experience required: The candidate should have minimum post qualification working experience of 20 years, in Structural design and planning of large infrastructure projects with a minimum relevant experience of 10 years in the analysis and design of Viaduct/Bridge and elevated stations for Metro or any other infrastructure project. 2. Desirable experience: · He should have worked as Deputy Chief Engineer or equivalent for minimum of 3 years. · The candidates should be familiar with the Standard Codes and Practices followed for Bridges/Viaduct and Elevated stationbuildings. Required Software Skills: · Finite Element Analysis Packages like LUSAS, MIDAS, STAAD, E-Tabs etc. alongwith knowledge of AutoCAD. · Experience of design of Metro Viaduct or Metro Station or Tunnels. · Experience and knowledge of coordinating and interfacing with different system disciplines associated with the Metro Rail /Railway working. |
2. Additional Chief Engineer / Deputy Chief Engineer (Designs Viaduct & Elevated station | 1. Minimum overall experience required: The candidate should have minimum post qualification working experience of 15 years, in Structural design and planning of large infrastructure projects with a minimum relevant experience of 7 years in the analysis and design of Viaduct/Bridge and elevated stations for Metro or any other infrastructure project. 2. Desirable experience: · He should have worked as Executive Engineer or equivalent for minimum of 3 years. · The candidates should be familiar with the Standard Codes and Practices followed for Bridges/Viaduct and Elevated station buildings. · Experience and knowledge of coordinating and interfacing with different system disciplines associated with the Metro Rail /Railway working. · Experience of design of Metro Viaduct or Metro Station or Tunnels. Required Software Skills: · Finite Element Analysis Packages like LUSAS, MIDAS, STAAD, E-Tabs etc. along with knowledge of AutoCAD. |
3. Executive Engineer Design (Viaduct & Elevated Stations) | 1.Minimum overall experience required: The candidate should have minimum post qualification working experience of 10 years in large infrastructure projects. Applicant should have 3 years’ relevant experience in Structural Design and Planning of Viaduct/Bridge in Metro Rail /Railways/Railway PSUs. 2.Desirable experience: · He should have worked as Asst. Executive Engineer or equivalent for minimum of 3 years. · Candidates should have experience and knowledge of coordinating with different system disciplines associated with Elevated & UG stations and Depots. Required Software Skills: · Finite Element Analysis Packages like LUSAS, MIDAS, STAAD, E-Tabs etc. alongwith knowledge of AutoCAD. |
4.Assistant Executive Engineer, Design (Viaduct & Elevated Stations) | 1.Minimum overall experience required: The candidate should have minimum post qualification working experience of 8 years in large infrastructure projects. Applicant should have 3 years’ relevant experience in structural design and planning of large infrastructure projects in Metro Rail /Railway PSUs. 2.Desirable experience: · He should have worked as Asst. Engineer.or equivalent for minimum of 3 years. Required Software Skills: · Finite Element Analysis Packages like LUSAS, MIDAS, STAAD, E-Tabs etc. along with knowledge of AutoCAD. |
5. Asst. Engineer –Design (Viaduct & Elevated Stations) | 1.Minimum overall experience required: The candidate should have minimum post qualification working experience of 5 years in large infrastructure projects. Applicant should have 3 years’ relevant experience in structural design and planning of large infrastructure projects in Metro Rail /Railway PSUs. 2.Desirableexperience: Required Software Skills: Finite element Analysis Packages like STAAD, E-Tabs etc. along with knowledge of AutoCAD |
6. Section Engineer (Design) | 1.Minimum overall experience required: The candidate should have minimum post qualification working experience of 3 years in case of Degree holder and 6 years in case of Diploma holders in large infrastructure projects. Applicant should have 1 years’ relevant experience in Structural Design in Metro Rail /Railway PSUs including architectural finishes. 2.Desirable experience: · Finite element Analysis Packages like STAAD, E-Tabs etc. along with knowledge of AutoCAD. |

SELECTION PROCESS
- Candidates who have been shortlisted will only be called for interview.
- The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right to be called for interview /Selection
- Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/appointment shall be a disqualification.

Selection will be through interview by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority
HOW TO APPLY
- Candidates should fill in the application on-line, take a print out of the same and submit along with copies of all the relevant certificates, testimonials in support of qualification and experience prescribed for the post. Candidates who fail to send hard copy of the application along with relevant documents will not be considered even though they have submitted application on-line.
- The application of any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated documents or making statements, which are false or incorrect or indulging in suppression of facts, attempting to use unfair means for the purpose of recruitment, will be liable for rejection.
- The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email / SMS to appear for interview as and when called, at their own cost.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- The tenure of contract appointment will be 3 years.
- The contract of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 3 months notice or by paying the contractual remuneration of three months in lieu of notice period, if the circumstances so Warrant.
- Candidates working in BMRCL in the same post are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates working in BMRCL who desires to apply for the above posts should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the post one level below the respective post for which they are applying.
- Documents in support of qualification and relevant experience shall be sent along with the application. Non-submission of documents along with the application, will lead to rejection of application at any stage during the process of recruitment.
