Delhi Cantonment Board is an autonomous body under the control of Government of India, Ministry of Defence and discharges obligatory and discretionary functions as per the provisions of Cantonments Act, 2006. The Cantonments Act lays down both the mandatory and discretionary functions of the Board such as education, public health, sanitation, roads, street lighting, water supply and birth and death registration.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Age limit and experience will be reckoned as on the “Last Date” for receipt of online application.

2. Applications from eligible candidates are to be filled up online only on the website.

3. Applications received from any other source/incomplete applications shall not be entertained and will be summarily rejected. Proof of age, qualification, category for claiming reservation etc has to be uploaded along with the online application, failing which the application is liable to be rejected summarily.

4. The vacancies advertised are provisional and liable to vary. The decision of the Competent Authority would be final, with regard to all matters connected with the recruitment including cancellation of the recruitment process at any stage and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
