Kerala PSC has invited applications from candidates for the II Grade Overseer/Draftsman (Civil) posts in Public Works/Irrigation Department, Cat No: 008/2024. Engineering graduates below 36 years can now apply towards this Kerala PSC notification through their PSC application online portal, “Thulasi” after the one time registration in Kerala public service commission website. Candidates who has aadhar card should give your aadhar card as ID proof in their Public Service Commission profile during the registration. The Recruitment is Direct Recruitment and the number of vacancies is anticipated for all posts. Interested candidates can now apply for this general recruitment through their PSC profiles, on or before midnight of April 03, 2024.

| II Grade Overseer/Draftsman | Must possess any of the following qualifications (a) Group Certificates under K.G.T.E or equivalent Examination. OR A pass in eight subjects, namely (I) Surveying and Levelling (Higher) (ii) Applied Mechanics (Higher) (iii) Building Material and Construction (Higher) (iv) Hydraulics and Irrigation (Higher) (v) Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher) (vi) Earth Work and Road Making (Higher) (vii) Geometrical Drawing (Lower) or Practical Plane and Solid Geometry(Lower) AND (viii) Mensuration (Lower) b. Diploma in Craftsmanship in the trade of ‘Draftsman (Civil)’ or ‘Surveyor’ obtained after 18 months course (followed by 6 months practical training) at the Industrial Training Institutes/Centres conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour. |
