NIT Srinagar is one of the premier Educational Institutes in the Northern Regions of the country.”It was established in 1960 and, consequently, has been one of the eighteen Regional Engineering Colleges sponsored by the Govt. of India during the 2nd Plan.”

The Institute is situated at the the banks of world-famous Dal Lake, with the far-famed Hazratbal Shrine on other side of the campus. NIT Srinagar is a residential Institute with accommodation facility in Hostels and Staff-Quarters.

SELECTION PROCESS

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and as per the requirements of the project. Mere
qualification of eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting. The interviews shall be   tentatively
conducted on 25th November 2023 in physical /virtual mode depending on the situation. The mode of interview, time and venue will be intimated to short-listed candidates by e-mail only. No TA/DA will
be paid for attending the interview in physical mode.

Interested candidates can send their application with a cover letter and detailed bio-data/resume/CV with contact details of two referees. Please note that the CV should include contact details (address, mobile phone no., email ID), date of birth, qualifications, research experience, and publication details (if any). All the testimonials (scanned copies of mark sheets, degree certificates, experience certificates, GATE certificates, valid identity proof, etc.) in pdf as a single compressed (zip/rar format) file must be sent via email to janani@nitsri.ac.in by clearly indicating the subject as “Application for the Post of Project Associate-I under SERB Funded Project”.
