Site Selection, Design, Construction, Commissioning, Operation, Maintenance, Renovation, Modernization & Upgradation, Plant life extension, Waste Management and Decommissioning of Nuclear Reactors in India under one roof, invites applications from the candidates passed out from ITI Courses are invited for engagement of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 as amended from time to time in the Tarapur Maharashtra Site, in Palghar District, Maharashtra to make it more responsive to the needs of youth and industry.

HOW TO APPLY

1.First, the candidate has to register himself/herself in the web portal of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship www.apprenticeshipindia.org.

2.After successful completion of registration, candidate has to submit online application against the above advertisement in NPCIL website.

3.After online submission of application, he has to also apply for the respective ITI trade in the Establishment Registration No. E05202701247), for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd/ Tarapur Maharashtra Site in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

4.The applications will not be accepted, if not applied in the NPCIL website.

5.It is mandatory to input all the relevant information (such as SSC, ITI qualification duration of ITI Trade, Marks obtained in all Semesters, percentage of marks, contact mobile number, e-mail address etc.) to complete the registration and get the Registration number. Candidates are therefore advised to keep such information ready before applying online.



6.Before applying online candidates should scan photograph in JPG format, of size not more than 50KB and a minimum of 125 x 165 pixels (4.4 x 5.8 in cm) in dimensions and signature in JPG format of size not more than 20KB and a minimum of 125 x 80 pixels (4.4 x 2.9 cm) in dimensions.

7.The photograph should be in colour, with light coloured background, preferably white colour and if candidates wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and candidates eyes can be clearly seen. Candidate must ensure that photograph should not be uploaded extra colour, with hat/cap, blur photographs, facing sideways, with goggle, too small, too dark, inverted. Candidate must ensure that Photo to be uploaded is of required size and face should be clearly visible.

8.The applicant has to ensure that the signature image should be clearly visible and has to sign on white paper with blue/black ink pen. Unsigned applications will be summarily rejected.

9.Candidates are requested to make note of the login id and password, as they will need this login id to the website to check their application status. An email will also be sent to the candidate with the application number, after completion of registration.

10.Application will be accepted through ONLINE mode only. Applications submitted in any other form including handwritten/typewritten in hard format delivered in person or by other means shall not be entertained. However candidate may take print-out of the application form which needs to be submitted at the time of reporting for apprenticeship training, if selected.

11.Before submitting the online application form, the candidate must ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility criteria with respect to age, educational qualifications, ITI Trade as published in the advertisement. Initial screening is primarily based on the information provided in the online application form. It is, therefore, strongly advised that all the details should be entered carefully and correctly in online application form.

12.The Online registration process consists of following steps:

Step 1: The applicant is required to furnish all basic information such as Name, Date of Birth, Category, Email, Contact mobile number, PwBD details, if applicable. On successful completion of this stage, activation link is sent to applicant’s email. Click on Apply=>Online Registration from the top/left menu for Registration.

Step 2: The applicant is required to activate the account by clicking on the activation link received through email after completing Registration in Step 1.

Step 3: On successful completion of this activation, candidates can login using their login id and password for apply online. In this step the applicant is required to fill in all details of his/her Educational/Technical Qualifications. This is a multi stage step where applicant is allowed to go to next stage only on entering the information required for current stage. The sequence of stages are as follows:

13.The candidates are required to upload following documents along with the online application for apprenticeship training.
i) Upload ITI marks sheets of all Semesters 
ii)
Upload Aadhar card (Name, Date of Birth, address should be clearly visible)

iii) Upload Photo, Signature 
iv) Upload SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD certificate, if applicable
v) Submit Application

14.The links for the above stages are available on Apply Online menu (Apply=>Apply Online). The applicant should start by clicking on the “Educational Qualifications” link. Once information is saved, the next stage i.e. Technical Qualification will be made available for filling up the information.





15.On entering of all the information related to current stage, the applicant can use “Save and Proceed to Next Step” option at the bottom of form which will save the information entered in current stage and opens the next stage for filling. The next stage can also be opened using link provided in Apply Online menu Apply=>Apply Online). The information at any stage can be saved using the “Save and Proceed to Next Step” option.

16.Once the applicant reaches “Submit Application” stage, a draft of all the information entered by the applicant will be shown. At this point the applicant is allowed to modify any details entered in earlier stages.

17.If applicant is sure that all the information entered is correct, they can submit the application using “Submit Application” option. Please note that the applicants will not be allowed to make any changes in the information furnished once he/she submits the Application. After submission of application, an Application number will be generated. The printed application is required to be brought at the time of reporting for apprentice training, if selected. The Online Application Process for engagement of any trade apprentice advertised is complete only after all the above-mentioned applicable steps are complete.

1.Application Status can be seen by the candidate using “Application Status option (Apply=>Application Status) after Login.

2.Initial screening is primarily based on the information provided in the online application form. It is, therefore, strongly advised that all the details should be carefully and correctly entered in online application form.

3.Applicants are required to keep the scanned signature and photograph ready for uploading at the time of online registration.

4.Please note that the ‘Online Application Form’ without valid signature and photograph will not be accepted.

5.At any stage of this process or joining, if any of the following is detected, the said applicant will be liable to be disqualified, prosecuted and debarred for apprenticeship in NPCIL and applicant’s application / apprenticeship training shall be rejected immediately and NPCIL will not entertain any correspondence on the issue. :
If the applicant :
i)
Has provided false information or submitted false documents or

ii) Has suppressed relevant information or
iii) Does not meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for the apprenticeship training or 
iv) Is found guilty of impersonation or
v) Has uploaded non-human or irrelevant photograph.

6.Any kind of queries/RTIs/records of non merit candidates for engagement of apprenticeship training will be entertained only within six months from the date of final merit. Thereafter, no such request shall be entertained.

7.English version will be considered in case of any ambiguity/dispute based on definition in any version except in English.

8.In case of any dispute, legal jurisdiction will be Dist. Palghar, Maharashtra.

9.For any clarification/queries, candidates may refer the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Section and online queries system.

 

 

 

 

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1.Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

2.Candidates are advised to have a valid and active personal e-mail ID & mobile number till the completion of selection process. No change in the email id and mobile number will be allowed once registered. NPCIL will send intimation only through the registered E-mail ID and SMS will also be sent to the mobile number given by the candidate. If the mobile number registered by the candidate is in the TRAI NCPR list (formerly called DND), candidate will not receive SMS alerts related to the registration.

3.Govt. of India orders on reservation of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD as applicable for engagement of apprentices shall be followed.

4.Placement of training shall be Tarapur Maharshtra Site, PO: TAPP via Boisar (W/Rly), Tal & District – Palghar 401504.

5.The engagement and training is strictly in compliance with the provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and there is no obligation to provide regular Employment on completion of apprenticeship training.

6.Management reserves the right to cancel or alter the number of seats of particular trade or even  the entire process of engagement of apprentices without assigning any reason whatsoever.

7.The period of Apprentice training will be for one year only.

8.The selected candidate has to produce a Police Verification Certificate from the District Police Authority.

9.Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Corporation. All such engagement will also be subject to all relevant Rules/policies/guidelines of the Corporation.

10.Candidates selected for apprenticeship will not be allowed to withdraw from training, except for reasons, which are beyond their control. The person engaged to undergo apprentice training in a designated trade shall enter into a contract of apprenticeship with NPCIL as per the Apprentice Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992. The contract of apprenticeship shall terminate on the expiry of the period of apprenticeship training. Any premature or extension of contract of apprenticeship shall be dealt as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship rules 1992. Those who remain absent from traineeship are liable to refund the whole cost of their training as well as the amount received as stipend as determined by the Central Apprenticeship Advisor.

11.Every Apprentice who has completed the period of training will have to undergo test/examination as per the guidelines issued by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship from time to time.

12.There is no provision for providing Transport/Hostel facility or any other form of residential accommodation to the apprentices.

13.Each candidate is required to submit only one application form and apply against not more than one trade, irrespective of number of trades eligible for.

14.Preference will be given to the applicants belonging to neighboring villages around TAPS Plant Site.

15.Before submitting the online application form for apprenticeship, the candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the required eligibility criteria for the apprenticeship for which they are applying as detailed for the respective discipline. If the candidates are not eligible, their candidature will be cancelled at any stage. If the candidates engaged for apprenticeship and subsequently, it is found that they do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, their candidature will be cancelled and apprenticeship will be terminated without any notice or compensation.

16.All candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD category shall produce self attested copy of the  certificate in the prescribed ‘Central Government’ format from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificates along with originals for verification. OBC candidates with certificate having the “Non-Creamy Layer” will only be eligible for reservation as per Government of India orders if the caste mentioned in caste certificate appears in the Central List. Latest OBC certificate is to be uploaded/submitted. Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) candidates should produce certificate from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificate in prescribed format. PwBD candidates should upload/produce PwBD certificates in the prescribed format from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificates. Minimum disability percentage admissible for PwBD is 40%.

17.The eligible candidates for Trade Apprentice shall register/enroll themselves on Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for Apprenticeship Training through web-portal and the registration number should be mentioned in the online application form.
