Rites Limited, a Miniratna (Category-I) and Schedule ‘A’ Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, incorporated on April 26, 1974, is a multidisciplinary engineering and consultancy organization, providing a comprehensive range of services from concept to commissioning in all facets of transport infrastructure and related technologies.

RITES is a leading player in the transport consultancy and engineering sector in India and uniquely placed in terms of diversification of services and geographical reach in various sectors such as railways, highways, urban engineering (metros) & sustainability, airports, ports, ropeways, institutional buildings, inland waterways, and renewable energy.

SELECTION PROCESS

• The applications received shall be screened for eligibility. The candidates may be shortlisted for selection. The company reserves the right to shortlist the number of candidates for selection out of eligible candidates.
• The weightage distribution of various parameters of the selection shall be as under:
  Interview – 100% (Technical & Professional proficiency – 65%; Personality Communication & Competency – 35%) Total – 100% Merit list of only those candidates would be prepared who secure a minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS (50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/ PWD against reserved posts) in Interview.
• There will be no qualifying marks in aggregate. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the Medical Examination to be conducted as per RITES Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness for the relevant post.
• The candidates shall have to produce copies of educational qualification and experience claimed which shall be verified from the original documents at the appropriate stage and shall be subject to verification from the original source

APPLICATION PROCESS

• Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the position’s conditions and requirements. Interested candidates meeting eligibility criteria should apply online on the RITES website (http://www.rites.com).
• Upon submission, the system will generate a “Registration No.,” which should be used for further communication. Careful completion of the application form is advised, with candidates urged to retain a copy for future reference.
• The printed application form, signed and accompanied by self-attested photocopies of required documents, is to be presented during the interview. Original documents must also be brought on the interview day.
• Experience certificates, educational qualifications, identity proof, and other necessary documents must be submitted in the specified order.
• Proof of salary and community certificates should adhere to government-prescribed formats. Hard copies of documents should not be sent via post; instead, they are to be uploaded on the RITES portal.
• Candidates are cautioned that failure to submit applications and supporting documents by the due date may result in non-consideration.
• Meeting eligibility criteria is essential, as any discrepancies may lead to rejection.
• Candidates should submit only one application per vacancy, and alterations are not permitted once submitted.
• The details provided in the application must be accurate, as any suppression may lead to forfeiture of candidature.
