Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOC) was set up by the Government of India in 1960 with the objective of attaining self-reliance in basic organic chemical’s needs. In fact this was the first endeavor to indigenize manufacture of basic chemicals and to reduce country’s dependence on import of vital organic chemicals. HOC, started as small chemical unit, and expanded to a multiunit company with two units at Rasayani and Kochi and one subsidiary unit. The Rasayani unit was closed in the year 2018 due to nonviability of its old plants.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
Short-listing of candidates for selection will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the minimum prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. The short listed candidates will be called for verification of original certificates/documents followed with Written TesU Skill Test/ Interview. Candidates short-listed for the certificate verification should bring the original certificates towards the proof of age, qualification, caste, disability etc and self attested cooies of all these certificates and their candidature shall be considered on the strength of the original certificates. In case of failure to produce the original certificates, the candidature shall be rejected. Those candidates who successfully complete certificate verification/ Written TesV Skill TesV Interview shall be provisionally considered for selection against the notified training seats in the order of merit/reservation, subject to Medical fitness.
