Applications are invited for selection of Graduate Apprentices (B.E/B.Tech/Bachelor in Hotel Management/B.Com) in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), for the training year 2022-2023, under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and subsequent amendments, from candidates who acquired the qualification from a recognised University coming under the Southern Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry).

HOW TO APPLY
1.Applications will be received from the candidates only through the walk-in interview on 15.10.2022 as per the below mentioned instructions. Applications will not be accepted through any other means.
2.Candidates applying for Graduate Apprenticeship in streams other than B.Com, have to register online in the MHRD NATS portal, through the website www.mhrdnats.qov.in or www.sdcentfe.org prior to the Walk- In Interview. Upon registration the candidates will obtain a Registration No. and the printout of the registration needs to be shown at the venue

3.On 15.10.2022, candidates have to visit the VSSC pavilion at the aforesaid venue along with ORIGINALS and self-attested copies of Marklist, proof of date of birth (SSLCISSC/AISSEIICSE), Caste/Community certificate (if belongs to SC/ST), Non-Creamy layer certificate (if belongs to OBC), Income & Asset Certificate issued by Tahsildar in the format prescribed in Govt. of India order of 2019 for the financial year 2022-23 (if belongs to EWS), Disability certificate (if PWBD candidate), Experience Certificate (if any) and one passport size photograph. Formats of Non-Creamy layer certificate (for OBC) and Income & Asset Certificate (for EWS) are attached as Annexure 1 and Annexure 2 respectively.
4.After necessary eligibility checks, candidates will be provided with the application format at the venue which have to be duly filled-in and submitted on the spot, along with self-attested copies of all certificates/ testimonials, photograph and NATS Registration
SELECTION PROCESS
1.The consolidated applications will be screened subsequently and selection panels will be drawn based on the aggregate scores of the candidates in the prescribed essential qualification giving due weightage to reservation categories.
2.The induction of apprentices against the 2022-23 vacant training positions will be made strictly based on the position in the panel subject to availability of vacancies and panel validity.
GENERAL CONDITION
1.Only Indian nationals need to apply.
2.Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 30.10.2022 for General candidates. (33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST. Additional 10 years relaxation for PWBD candidates in their respective categories). Reservation to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWBD candidates is applicable as per Govt. of India rules.
3.Candidates who have completed three years after acquiring the prescribed qualification are not eligible for apprenticeship training (i.e.3 years from the month & year as specified in the Degree certificate). Further, candidates who are positioned / waitlisted for engagement, will not be considered for training, if they cross the three year time limit, at the time of issue of offer
4.Candidates who qualified from recognized Universities coming under Southern region of BoAT (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry) will be given priority. Candidates from other Universities will be considered only in case there is shortage of applications as mentioned above in any discipline.
5.Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act ,1973 or having one year or more experience from any institution are not eligible to apply. Combining of apprenticeship with other institutions is not permitted.
6.Candidates pursuing sandwich course, private degree, degree through correspondence/distance education, short term/certificate courses, degree in disciplines other than those listed above etc. are not eligible to apply
7.Selected candidates will be registered under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment act of 1973; for which they should execute a contract in the NATS porlal immediately after induction of training
8.The trainees will have no claim whatsoever for employment in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre or any other Centres /Units of Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space after completion of the period.
9.No interim Correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
