Applications are invited from qualified and eligible candidates (Graduate & Diploma holders in Engineering) belonging to Kamataka state through online mode for undergoing One year Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for the year 2021-22 in Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited, Bengaluru.

PREVIOUS TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE

Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL STANDARDS

A candidate should be free from evidence of any contagious or infectious disease. He should not be suffering from any disease which is likely to be aggravated by service or is likely to render him unfit for service or to endanger the health of the public. He should also be free from evidence of tuberculosis in any form, active or health as per Apprenticeship Act specified in Schedule-II. He/She shall produce medical fitness certificate issued in writing by a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region) is entrusted with the task of preparation of shortlisting the candidates from online application data Shortlisting process will be done based on the marks secured in the Qualifying examinations only. Shortlisted candidates will be intrated through the registered Fmail ID. They will have to appear in person for verification of documents at the Oro DGM, HRDC, BESCOM, Bangalore.

HOW TO APPLY

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. The candidates should have knowledge of reading and writing in Kannada language

2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending documents verification.

3. No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible during verification of documents and candidates selected shall make their own arrangement at the place of posting

4. It shall not be obligatory on the part of the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited to offer any employment to the Apprentice on completion of period of apprenticeship training nor shall it be obligatory on the part of the Apprentice to accept an employment under the employer as per Apprenticeship Act 1961 specified in Schedule VI, Rule 6

5. Incomplete/Erroneous online applications received before or any application received after due date will be rejected. No further correspondence or enquires will be entertained in this regard from candidates.

6. Board of Apprenticeship training (Southern Region) has not entrusted authorized any individual organization to coordinate (or) liaison the selection process. Candidates are directed to be beware of touts, this office shall not be held responsible for such unwanted incidents

7. Canvassing Pressuring through any source will disqualify the candidature

8. The decision of BESCOM in matters relating to cligibility of the candidates will be final and binding

9. The candidates shall furnish valid e-mail ID and mobile number contact number for future communication in the online application.

10. Original documents Testimonials/certificates records etc. shall be produced for verification only when called for verification of documents
